name // source :: Meemert // Meeblip (company mascot)

completed :: December 2011

size :: ~7" tall

materials :: Fleece, velour, wire, acrylic and wool felt, magnets

notes :: Made as a Christmas present for my brother. Meemert is the mascot for the product he helped develop, a hackable digital synth called the Meeblip. I don't know who designed the original character, but I had the one reference to work from (shown above) and tried to be as accurate as I could. Meemert stands on his own, has posable arms, and can hold his (removable) keytar, thanks to some magnet magic.
